Cala D'or Monday

An early start from home to Bournemouth airport by Taxi. The flight from Bournemouth to Palma was very smooth. As soon as we landed the heat hit us.
We took a taxi from Palma to Cala D'or rather than wait for the transfer bus to take us to the hotel.
The hotel is a bit more basic than the one we stayed in last year. They are not that far from each other so we are familiar with the area. The air-con in the room is very effecient and the room is nice and chilly in contrast to the outside air.
Nce we had a got our bearings we went to check out Cala Gran beach, which is the nearest to the hotel, just over the road and down some steps. It was very hot at the beach, we didn't stay on the beach but instead went to explore the rocky edges to the cala to see where we could jump into the water.
In the evening we walked into town for something to eat where we ended up at Don Leone for pizza.
We walked home past Cala Gran when the moon was rising above the cala. It looked perfect.
